Day 8 of the Vegan Challenge.
Today we were challenged to devise a Buddha Bowl. This was described as a balanced and nutritious meal.
I used a microwaveable packet of Wholemeal and Quinoa as the base, added some warned vegetables, pesto sauce, toasted almond slices, and omega seeds. It was lovely.
Also two crusts of Hovis, one with Houmus onecwith Marmite.
The Abbey Beer, made in York a great city, is thankfully Vegan. I discovered it in Booths a while ago and it is lovely.
