friday night is...

...BBQ night!

This is the third Friday in a row that Luke and I have cooked our tea on a fire by the river. Last week we had the challenge of high winds, this week we were challenged by damp. Still, we managed to gather some sticks from under the trees and Luke got the fire going quite easily. Getting over to the other side of the water while carrying the wood was also challenging as the water level has risen a lot over the past few days..One of Luke's crocs came off and floated downstream, but he managed to retrieve it. All good fun :-)

You can see Lukes gourmet BBQ sandwich in the extra - his own sourdough bread, my homegrown leaves, and some Quorn nuggets with BBQ sauce.
