TGIF and grateful for a beautiful dry late spring day.  An easy day since all the rain yesterday, there wasn't much to do in the garden or otherwise.  Did some reading (About Grace by Anthony Doerr - not as good as All The Light We Cannot See), took a ride, sat in the sun on the deck.  Worked a few hours.  Looking forward to a couple of good visits over the weekend.  Meet up with Katie, a dear friend of Sumner's tomorrow morning for coffee and what ever baked goods outdoors at a little cafe halfway between her house and ours and then girls lunch on Sunday with hopefully a nature walk to follow to walk off lunch.  And otherwise, more chilling and a little work.
