Just when I was thinking I had enough cherries to 'do' something meaningful with them, I noticed the Jay had taken a liking to them too although they are not quite ripe !!    Never mind his need was probably greater than mine and in all fairness he has left me a few, the considerate chap!!   You can see he has one between his claws.
