This Four-spotted Chaser was very active in the sunshine today as he darted hither and thither by the river.   I was lucky he landed on a reed close by.
One of my work colleagues visited this afternoon and we had a lovely time sitting on the river bank in the glorious sunshine (socially distanced of course) putting the world to rights and fortified with homemade Elderflower Cordial.
