Bear craft

The children came again for the afternoon and Izzy immediately disappeared into the art room. She said she wanted to make a bear.
We had shown her how to take a screenshot on the computer last time she came. Today she found her pattern printed it and got cracking with the box of felt. She came and asked for help because she wanted to use the sewing machine. Mrs BR has spent time showing her how to use it in the past and so she was soon away with It. We just stayed nearby if she needed help. She did need a bit as it was a bit fiddly to guide but she managed with some guidance. The most fiddly part was turning it inside out which she insisted she wanted to do. Here she is putting her finishing touches. She wanted a gift for a friend at school who doesn’t have any soft toys. Hopefully her friend will like it.
The girls helped me harvest some purple sprouting broccoli to have with our supper which was delicious.
Today has been rather damp, with monsoon type rain at times! It will be good for the garden is the positive. :)
