Starters orders

Thank you for all the hearts and stars for Izzy yesterday, she is thrilled :) 

This morning we delivered some eggs to our daughters home as she wanted to make some meringues and didn't quite have enough. On the way back we saw the marina had opened and many boats were heading out for a bit of fun. In fact, most were heading straight over to Herm island where lunch was being served at the Mermaid.
Then it was home to cut the hedgerow outside our house, by law it has to be cut in the first fifteen days of June. We checked it for nesting birds first as we know that some still have young. 
It has become warm and sunny again and so Mrs BR took Miss T out for a soft ice cream in town. Apparently there was a rather large queue and social distancing has gone out of fashion. We do not reach level 5 of exit until next Saturday and so they were leaving a good space when the people behind asked if they were in the queue. Some have shorter memories than others it seems.
In other news the children's tortoise has laid 10 eggs.  Bertha laying eggs
