The prairies of Kent
We were out walking a little later than we expected owing to a late night where we were watching a folk festival from performers front rooms on https://www.folkonfoot.com/festival
Up onto the Downs this morning for 6 miles before breakfast. Hardly a soul about with the exception of a runner who wasn’t sure of his way. We sent him on his way in the right direction.
After breakfast and at least 20 weeks since my last haircut it was time to have the unruly locks trimmed. Susan has been quite liking it longer but now felt action was needed. My hair has not been this long since I was a teenager. It certainly wasn’t this colour either. It was a number 8 all over. Susan did a terrific job and has spent the rest of the day admiring her handiwork. I’ve put the before and after shots as an extra.
Pretty relaxed for the rest of the day after that. There’s a chicken curry in the slow cooker, strawberries for dessert, shopping lists done and an hour on the ukulele and guitar. A bit of watering needed in the greenhouse and that’s your lot.
