Tea in the park

We’d planned to get up early and go somewhere for a walk but it didn’t happen. I went for a run instead. We didn’t really do much today. Ben and Penny went to Squire’s to buy some indoor plants after lunch. We finally went for a walk but only to Bushy Park and we weren't there for very long. When we got back, Ben and I picked loads of cherries from the cherry tree in our garden. We’ll ask Penny to make a cherry pie tomorrow. It had been quite cloudy for most of the day but later on in the afternoon, the clouds cleared up and it was lovely and sunny. Ben and I sat in the garden with a glass of Pimm's playing cards. We then had a Sunday roast lamb.
