Sophie Having A Giggle

Being Boris bubble-wrapped, Kate & Sophie were able to stay for a sleepover last night so this morning we went for a walk on the Ham Wall nature reserve.

Sophie was much amused by a ladybird which is hidden in Kate's hands in the photo and then transferred itself to Sophie's where it stayed all the way back to the car, when Sophie liberated it on to a wild flower.

We were lucky enough to see a marsh harrier and a bittern fly over the reed beds but too distant to get a good shot of.

Chris joined us for a late socially distanced Sunday lunch and an afternoon of play in the garden.

It's been great fun to have something like a normal family gathering again after all this time.
