Left standing

Our neighbour, Jimmy,  cut his grass today, a huge area, basically a field.  He carefully drove his ride on lawn mower around the patches of lady's smock and round each individual northern marsh orchid - see extra.  

He also leaves all the old daffodil and tulip foliage to die down naturally, rather than cutting it.  Lovely to see the care he takes.  And to see the wild flowers left standing.
