The First Bounty From Michigan

When you talk early veggies in Michigan,
not many to discuss.
Perhaps some red radishes,
and the green of asparagus.

The sweet corn is just sprouting,
but you can eat the asparagus stalk.

The green vegetable was delicious,
I cooked it on the grill.
Along with marinated chicken,
it really fit the bill.
