Blip Bird Battles on the Boardwalk

These four bird pictures look pretty tame, but there was actually a lot of posturing going on. Pecking, fighting, clawing, etc.

The birds seem to be very aggressive this Spring. I was chuckling to myself at a wife taking a cell phone picture of her husband with a bird on his shoulder...when a red-winged blackbird landed on top of my head. AND I WASN'T WEARING A HAT!

A relaxing morning at the metro park. Several birds ate out of my hand, but I didn't get any pictures.
