Injured female Goosander on the River Ness at lunchtime.
Gale force winds throughout the day. This Goosander's left wing appeared to have been badly damaged in some way. The gusts of wind kept blowing it up with the poor bird seemingly having no control of it all. No signs of distress showing though. Looking for food was a higher priority. Could have done with a telephoto lens, for both this and a pair of seals that were zig-zagging their way up the river, just below the castle.
