Hunger

Kier Starmer raised the issue of the free school meal vouchers scheme - which has kept a lot of children living in poverty fed during lockdown - stopping soon and asking why it couldn’t be maintained over the summer.

Shaggles the clown did his usual blustering non answer, which boiled down to him not giving a flying toss about that and it didn’t get much traction, because our press don’t give a toss about it either.

But Marcus Rashford taking the issue up has them on the back foot. Well Matt Hancock did urge footballers to step up and do their bit, so that’s worked out well for him.
