This Golden Ringed Dragonfly is such a colourful  creature and so lovely to spot.

A bright day, temperature in the morning of 20C; after putting the washing on and changing bedding, I sat outside for a bit until Emma arrived with some things for us.  And it was lovely to chat with her.  I think life is very difficult for the young just now, but she is coping well and takes it all in her stride.

Had an ice cream cone in the garden in the afternoon, our treat for today!
