Well, we have hardly been home today, with so many chores to do.  

After doing an ironing, we went to the village to order some new blinds for the back windows.  Someone will come on Monday to do a final measuring and hopefully it won't take long to get them fitted.

After lunch we went down to the 'expert' at the town centre to activate my new phone.  A nightmare...... but in the end it has now been activated, in the main thanks eventually to a guy in the call centre, who was very helpful.  

Then we did our food shopping, after a rejuvenating cup of coffee.  Now home and making dinner.  

It has been a strange day!
