Lockdown Love
Introducing Karis, who our son has begun "courting" (their word) during lockdown, and the explanation for all our trips to the Cotswolds. Not that the Cotswolds aren't worth a journey for their own sake. But, as we had a car, thought we could help the virtual become more real, albeit distanced. She's now in London, and came up in her sister's car today. The almost constant rain made outdoor socialising complicated, but she did bring a change of clothes.
Gratefuls:
- these two finding each other - we wish them a long journey together
- a march up to the duckpond for our Nature walk in the pouring rain, armed with wellies and umbrellas - still got wet, but good to be in the fresh air
- new books to read, I had run out - disaster!
