2020 Thursday — Bath for Chloe

Because little Chloe goes to the vet tomorrow afternoon, I asked Mr. Fun today if we could give her a bath. Thankfully he said “yes.”

About every four weeks Chloe has an injection of Cytopoint to help with her allergies. Without the Cytopoint she is scratching at herself all the time.

This evening Chloe is white and fluffy like a snowball.

Tomorrow also begins our 2-day episode with getting a new roof. When the renters moved out 3-years ago, we asked our roofer to evaluate the roof on this house. He said it would be good for about 3-years.

This week our neighbor, Shirley’s, house across the street has gotten a new roof. The construction crew arrived early and stayed late each day. So we got a quote from them. Tomorrow the re-roofing begins here and will be finished Saturday.

Our neighbor Shirley moved out about 5 years ago to a seniors retirement home because she just couldn’t take care of her house and property anymore and she now rents-out the house across the street from us and that pays for the rent at her seniors apartment. Meanwhile the value of her home has climbed significantly. The first renters have now moved out and Shirley’s adult kids are overseeing the general maintenance before the new renters move-in July 1.
