The Chattri

A long breezy walk with the spaniel over the South Downs this morning for our annual visit to the Chattri. This is the memorial to the Hindu and Sikh soldiers who died in Brighton's military hospitals during the First World War. It stands on the Downs at the site where their remains were cremated.
