Family Pheasants

Today the resident garden pheasants have brought their babies for us to admire. The dad was busy eating under the bird table of our neighbor when mum arrived to show off her two little ones. They are incredibly wary and dad makes a dreadful screech to warn her if he sees anything that might endanger the family. We could see the nest with lots of colorful feathers nearby where they had been sitting.
We are off to collect the children from school now but thought it was wise to blip first as life can become a little hectic after school is out.
I think it will be a sunny start this weekend and we look forward to phase 5 and no more queuing for supermarkets or other services. Let us hope that it will last.
