Ling Holme island

Would you believe it, most of today's photos have water on the lens or are very dull so you get a selfie of me during my two times circum- navigation of the island. It's not large, see map. I was very hesitant because I'm not looking my best but it is the brightest photo.   Heavy rain was forecast for the afternoon so we went out for a walk and swim in the morning with grey clouds looming. The Windermere Ferry is back working so we used it to do a little bit to support a local business (and it saves a lot of car miles)
Out to the island to hunt for a geocache which I could not find then swam twice round the island. Followed by a picnic lunch on a bench on the beach. We saw no other walkers on the path but yachts and canoes playing out on the lake. 

Day 91. 
173 more sad deaths taking the total to 42,461. We have officially dropped to Level 3 on the Covid alert rating. Its taken three months.
