Running on empty

We were fortunate that our beloved little TMGs slept well last night, but even with a good rest, I still felt worse today than yesterday. It is amazing that with all our technical and medical advancements that there is no treatment for the common cold. I am loathe to take medications that just mask symptoms and so no medication for me.

Yesterday, we found out that one of the little TMGs had an ear infection which
explains his general state of irritability and discomfort. The good news is that he is a huge fan of his antibiotic. When I pulled him out of his crib this morning, he ran off to the bathroom and promptly pointed at the antibiotic and said "Da!". I wish I could say that he was trying to inform me that 12 hours had elapsed since his last dosage and that it was time for the next, but alas, not. He likes the pink color and chemical flavor and was telling me that he wanted a treat! I was happy to oblige since the timing worked well with the 2x a day schedule.
