Solstice evening

The sky put on a spectacular solstice show. It got better and better from here but we'd decided on a phones away evening so this is it. Not the usual solstice adventure, but a fun day of adventure running and pancakes.


We had a  local ish jaunt planned but the dissapointing phase 2 restrictions plus the influx of "wild" campers from whi knows where all along the loch road, in the Ben Lawers car park (yes, actually just in the car park!) and no doubt at Tummel, and Rannoch made it a no go. Dissapointing given that we'd be super discreet and just about within the rules but it just didn't feel right given the carnage we'd seen through the day. And we might just go midweek when no one's here again!
