Cherub
A gorgeous day, Joe had us working hard. He has decided to paint his house, a 30s bungalow, currently an attractive but rather sedate cream walls with dark blue trimmings. He returned from the hardware shop with a rather amazing selection of blues- think Greece meets the BVM meets startling azure sky. We are doing a testing area on a wall that cant be seen from the roads. It's bright but rather jolly in my opinion. It was blooming hard work though for the bungalow, in true 30s fashion, is pebbled-dashed. Who knew that was so horrible to paint. He has now hired a thing that sprays the paint out with abandon - we shall be using that on Thursday!
Later Esme was back from her nursery. I just loved this soulful look but don't worry, the extra shows how she normally is. The current passion is hurtling around the livingroom with a bit of mad dancing in between.
Only just staggered in, wrecked so not much time for commenting at the moment - if you don't hear from me I will be wrestling with BVM blue paint. Is the neighbourhood ready for this?
