Avocet chick #58

Another trip to Lunt Meadows, but with the threat of rain, which I don’t like at all. Although the light was very poor, we did manage to stay dry which was good. 
Not as successful as last week, but we did see the young avocet chick, who seems to be flourishing. Great news as the other chicks were predated. One of the parents in extras
