Bun in the Sun

The day didn't quite go to plan today !  We had tickets to visit Hyde Hall this morning but the car wouldn't start! So Dad had to get the AA out and it transpired we needed a new battery! Thankfully he was very helpful and got a new one for us and fitted it but not in time for our trip to Hyde Hall! Maybe next week!

Took a walk round the local park instead which was lovely in the sunshine, and been spending time in the garden with the bunny! The fox has been spotted more regularly in next doors garden so I'm being very careful now with bunny and his 'roaming' time! He's just very happy to sit somewhere sunny, in between plant nibbling, so that's how he's been spending an hour or so this afternoon!

Also got a lovely surprise in the post today of a book token from an independent bookshop I use, to thank me for supporting them!! Very apt for Independent Bookshop Week! And always a good excuse for me to go book shopping again - even if it is still virtual for me!
