small tortoiseshell

Another hot and sunny day here in Essex.  Went out for a walk with my parents earlier and explored the local park for a change. Pleased to see lots of butterflies out and about even if many of them didn't want to stop and pose! So the best I could do was a side view of a small tortoiseshell and hopefully will have better luck next time I'm down there!.

A day of deliveries today - lunch from a local cafe, some indoor plants and some crystals! There are some advantages to lockdown living!
