2020 Monday — Grocery Mystery

As I entered the grocery store wearing my mask, I was confronted by the sign that claims wearing a mask is a law. I have seen no evidence that proves it is anything more than a strong recommendation by California’s governor. I have no problem wearing a mask, I don’t like calling something a law that is really a recommendation. So I’m wondering which it is.

So I posted the photo on my social media and asked the question “Is it a law?” and no one has any evidence, but everyone has an opinion.

Then inside the grocery store, the aisle with paper products is absolutely bare. Something seems intensely wrong with this scenario.
