Puffins on Lunga

Day 97- memories of a Cruise to Hebrides and Faroes, June 2016
This came up in my Facebook from four years ago so I revisited my photographs of a great trip. See extra for itinerary. Puffins have always been a favourite and getting so close to them on the uninhabited island of Lunga was a highlight of the cruise, as well as landing on St Kilda. Although it was already June they were just making their nests and the flowers included primroses as summer so much later in Scotland!

-after an 8am start visited son and family for breakfast
- visited brother in law and wife in their nice new build house for lunch
- all journeys were good and home to find tomatoes urgently needing watering as 29C!
