Tulips from Amsterdam- 2016

When visiting the Hampton Court Flower Festival I was recalling my visit to Holland in late April 2016. Part of our trip was visiting the famous Keukenhof Gardens which were amazing with so many swathes of different daffodils and other bulbs. I’m guessing there will not be so many foreign tourists there this year. We also went to the Aalsmeer flower auction market which was fascinating. See extras. A huge covered area the size of many football pitches with flowers from all around the country which were bid for electronically ...the bidders just saw a photo on the screen. When bought the crates of flowers were then whizzed around to departure bays and then to big lorries, some of which would come to the U.K.
