Orchid

I am not a botanist an d so this is 'just' a speices of orchid to me. If you know better, do please tell me. They were everywhere at one particular spot at the side of the road - impressive flower.
In the evening anddrinks were had with neighbours D&I  discussion ranged far and wide, even reaching heated levels at some stages. A son was called upon to replenish supplies of tonic - no problem with the wine, gin or whisky - and he took no prisoners verbally either. 
Suddenly it was 11pm!
