Early start

There's actually more daylight than this photo might suggest. But as I wear my sunglasses while riding, this is much like what I saw as I rode to work this morning. 

Work continues on the bike lanes in Karangahape Road, although it is much closer to completion in some sections. So much so that this morning I found myself riding in the cycle lane. I had to stop and cross the raised separation from the road, as the next section was blocked off. I guess most of it should be usable before the winter is over.
