Imported, perhaps

Hynds, an Auckland company manufactures manhole covers, and include the name Hynds on them. One of the first ones I blipped was a Maestro, with the name Hynds central and obvious. It therefore intrigued me when I noticed that some of the otherwise similar Maestro covers do not have Hynds on them. A quick search identified a USA firm from East Jordan (Michigan), which dates back to the 19th century, and it seems that this unnamed one is an EJ Maestro, and possibly imported rather than made here.
