Biddulph Grange Gardens

I drove further today than I have since lockdown. This National Trust property is vaguely half way between my home and my friend in Stockport.

We met up for the first time since October last year. We walked through the gardens on the one way route and it was glorious.

No refreshments or shop facilities but they do have toilets. 

It was a delightful day out and a real chance to catch up. I took some lemon drizzle cake (You have to have cake) and we had water with us. 

As we sat at the tables in the  sunshine, it  dawned on me that this was the first time I’ve eaten in company since lockdown.
