day late putting my blip on again.. really must work on my ..........timing ...anyway ..sunday.. good day .. safe run down to bournemouth and poole .. had my appraisal on my return,, all tickity boo on that ..learnt all about respect at work... things you can do and things you may not do....so references to keeping it up are borderline ! until i realised lea was referring to the past years work..think i landed about third best driver in the DC,cant beat mark "wiggly" wigley or russell... still i ll grind em down.. speaking of respect , we have agency driver, Seb, whos polish , a damn fine driver and nice guy who was threatened and racially abused by a member of the great britsh public in a completely unprovoked attack a short while ago..just for doing his job... how depressing .. it saddens me and is something i feel strongly about and for my girls we teach them to be colourblind and completely open to all races , creeds and nations.. thought this country can move on prejudice, but apparently not .
News away from work....Have been thinking for a bit of time of doing a "project" , something that i love .. Melissa from mystic photography based in hawaii gave me the prod to actually do it ..shes produced one of the best pictures of hawaiian surf recently, she has a great palette to work with.. also i should give a nod to Jules whos out in the frozen wasteland of canada`s ice roads, he used to work with me at Macs driving the trucks, he left to drive in new zealand , then he went out to canada to drive the ice roads last year and is back there again this year,, he had the honour of leading the trucks out on the ice this year after finishing as the top driver last year, hes a brilliant photographer and world traveller, a real free thinker, a great inspiration , like most of the drivers at our place, a right motley crew of free thinkers and egotistic maniacs ...
