Hoy in the Haar

A walk along the shore from Stromness. Bright at first but then the haar came in. It didn't last too long, though, before the sun started to burn it away. In the photo is Graemsay Low Lighthouse and Hoy beyond that. People sometimes think 'haar' is from the Norse, but its Dutch...think Haarlem.
