Roof Repairs

I went for a walk around town this morning before it got too hot to see what was going on at Budgens (see Extra), just one guy in a hi-vis jacket walking through the rubble inside. The road / pedestrian access points are all fenced off now including the car park, but other parking has been made free to the end of July. As well as these roof repairs elsewhere in town, I've also added a sign in town to Extras that made me smile. A number of tourists around - day trippers or rule breakers? An incredibly hot day today, way too hot for me. 

The time to repair the roof is when the sun is shining.

UK deaths up 149 to 43,230.The WHO says that Europe has seen its first weekly increase in CV cases for months. A major incident was declared when thousands of people flocked to Bournemouth beach and social distancing went out the window. The CMO warns of the need to follow social distancing guidance and the Health Secretary says he has the power to close public areas like beaches if social distancing isn't followed. I still blame the Press for continuing to mis-report the social distancing guidance. In three weeks, more than 100,000 have been told to self isolate through Test & Trace, but 30% of those testing positive were unable to be contacted.
