Thursday: #30DaysWild - Calendula ...

... and a Bee, which spent ages exploring the flower! I was eating my breakfast outdoors whilst watching this very busy bee.
Absolutely boiling hot all day and heavy, I kept going out, staying in the shade but ended up coming indoors for the afternoon.
8:30pm now and the storm has arrived, rain and thunder, it’s supposed to pass over us quickly...
During a heavy thundery downpour the swallows & house martins are having a feeding frenzy AND amongst them there’s a Swift!! Haven’t seen one for a couple of years !
