Ready for the day

The youngest has been SO excited, they have had the paddling pool out all week and today were all going in their swimming kit.  Getting him dressed is normally a bit of a mission (I normally try and do it when he is still asleep, it saves many arguments), and he is generally a lover of clothes (unlike the eldest).  Today however, everything was straight off and swimming trunks on, no t-shirt thank you very much.   Suffice to say he ran into nursery without even a wave goodbye. 

Eldest had a really good drop-off with his teacher telling me he has made a few friends and is often playing with one particular boy, which is lovely to hear. 

I got a lunch time walk in, we're very much suffering from a lack of exercise at the moment, which is really hard. 

Today I'm grateful for: 
A lovely, chilled out nursery (I think the staff were almost as excited about a day outside in the paddling pool)
Almost the end of the school term at work, which means work will be a little less frenetic 
Dinner outside with the husband after the boys were in bed
