Feeling hot

Woke to some rain which had evaporated by the time I headed to town.  It was an oppressively hot and humid morning.  Wearing a mask made it worse. Those poor NHS workers!
I took the blip on one of my numerous returns to load up my bike and joint escapes to cool shade. Mono in extra. The only time i decide to buy ice cream, 2 little tubs was left.
I was glad to get home. I kept dousing with cool water when a jump into cool clear water would have been beyond delightful. 
Some thunder this afternoon and a disappointing shower.  Hope by tomorrow the humidity will be minimal.
