British University cross country champs took place today over in Leeds. Cal was running for Durham Uni for the 1st time. He took part in the mens B race a field of 500 runners! It was a mad highland charge to the 1st corner and if you weren't up in the lead pack at the 1st turn there was little room for manouver on a tight course. Cal finished in top 200 so not a bad effort for a 1st outing. The course was challenging but conditions were appalling especially after two previous races. Great atmosphere and I am sure they will enjoy the after race party.
