Nescio Bridge
This is the Nescio Bridge, named after a dutch writer. The 779 meters long Nesciobrug connects Amsterdam with IJburg. This curved cable-stayed bridge is the longest bicycle and pedestrian bridge in the Netherlands.
Nescio was a writer who made many walks here along the canal and wrote about it. He also wrote about Kortenhoef, my place of birth. Now I live near this bridge in Watergraafsmeer, the lowest point in Amsterdam (-5 meters).
