Cumulonimbus incus
On the way home I spotted this cloud. It is a beautiful example of a Cumulonimbus incus. Incus is the top part of this Cumulonimbus cloud, extending out as a canopy of ice crystals, and forming the shape of an anvil. 'Incus' is the Latin word for a blacksmith's anvil.
In total there were 4 of them, which resulted in a very changeable weather. It rained, there were hailstorms, gusty winds but also sunny periods. Great dutch weather! I like it.
