End of the day

Contractor came in the morning to mow over eight hectares of grass to be sold before I got around to making our own silage. Did 11 loads from about two hectares from the field across the road.

Quit early enough to drive around to check all the cereals fields in the evening. They look dry, some very dry, but the good news is that most of them have very few weeds.

It was "just" +24°C. More than warm enough with the old tractor's poor ventilation, but colder than the coming days.
