Start of the day

On the way into work and it's great because sunrise is back before 8 am (7:47 am to be precise). A quick stop and short walk down a public footpath in the hope of some good light. I had expected a pinkish pre-sunrise hue but it never appeared. Instead I waited for a few minutes after sunrise to get this light.

I felt slightly guilty about putting my size 12s onto the crop but managed to stretch the tripod across and use the very useful tilting display on the camera to limit any squashing of plants that might have gone on.
