Mono Monday.....Not Black and White

For the first time ever due to the extremely windy weather, it was necessary to actually pick a flower to photograph indoors......a day lily, in all it's varying shades of orange......thanks to Laurie54 for hosting. 
I am still feeling lethargic and unenthusiastic generally, but I forced myself to prepare and cook a delish chicken curry with loads of vegetables for later, and took a short walk to the Post Office to post a parcel of books off to grandson Ben in Vietnam.
I hope the sun returns soon, it's been a grey old day here today:)
