Coincidentally, after my blip of 29 January, at the weekend I noticed a rather large grand building in Stirling city centre which I had never noticed before.

It has stood empty for a number of years and has got into a bad state of disrepair. Above the front entrance is carved 'Headquarters' and there is mention of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. This is contrary to all the information I have managed to glean about the regiment so far and this building is not mentioned in any of the internet texts.

Around the side of the building was an old red door with metal studs and this door knocker.
