A nice day off

We were able to get to the city a bit today. It was good to get out.

We headed to one of the largest malls in the world, which just happens to be in the City. We got there early enough before the crowds arrived which made it quite pleasant.

Most of the shops limit the number of people and you have to line up, which is ok. A number of them take your temperature as well, which Lauralea was nervous about because she was hot.

The stores aren’t really open for browsing, you have to know what you want before you go in. And the floors are clearly marked with arrows that really keep things moving in the right directions.

All that to say I was fairly impressed with the whole thing.

We picked up a few things we needed and had a nice lunch in a space that had lots of room not to feel crowded.

All in all a lovely day off.
