Lonmay Old Kirkyard

An especially fascinating country Kirkyard dating from 1607 when the kirk of which only a fragment of Wall remains, was built. Here fishermen and farmers lie alongside members of the militia, employees of the Honourable East India Company, a clerk with the South Indian Railway Company, millers, a litser, (He prepared dyes), a dancing master and a habit maker who made formal clothes in broadcloth.
